V-Style Hooks
An industrial hook with a "V" bottom will retain its grounding ability longer by allowing parts to seat in the same location. This minimizes coating buildup in that location. Hooks with a wire diameter of .180 or less are made from hard drawn spring wire that can handle higher loads and can better withstand repeated stripping cycles than cold rolled steel. Mandrel packaging is standard on many of our hooks. Mandrel packaging eliminates tangling and increases productivity. The hook description will indicate if the part has the Mandrel Packaging.
